Dan Kunz has cleverly invented a way to offer YUV to RGB output
from a ColecoVision.
The cunning is that the circuit board is mounted just below the existing
GPU, on the underside of ColecoVision's printed circuit board.
Dan Kunz was in 2017 contacted about an RGB mod for the ColecoVison, and
he says: "I can't believe there is no mod out there for the DIY."
Dan Kunz aka citrus3000psi is satisfied with the results and says that it
works fine in a test trial.
Dan Kunz says: "The design it’s based around TI original docs. I’ve
been told that each ColecoVision console output varies slightly and
therefore needs to be dialed in."
So when this little RGB mod for our ColecoVision will see a release is not
known yet.
